I still can't play the game because they introduced a glitch in one of the prior patches. Normally that wouldn't be a huge problem, but poor game documentation etc can make working on an old game very difficult. You don't want to be fixing bugs then screw up things in the expansion. there will be a team working on the expansion and a team working on current bugs. In general, it's probably true what was said. Maybe too many people bailed on the game when they told the fans that they had no obligation to fix the game they sold them.
